"ฐาปนีย์" ผู้ว่า ททท. นำคณะเข้าร่วมงาน The 10th Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF)
นางสาวฐาปนีย์ เกียรติไพบูลย์ ผู้ว่าการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) ได้นำคณะเข้าร่วมงาน The 10th Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF) ที่มีแนวคิดเพื่อส่งเสริมการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลก โดยงาน GTEF เริ่มจัดเป็นครั้งแรกในปี 2012 สมัยของนายกรัฐมนตรีจีน หลี่ เค่อเฉียง ของรัฐบาลกลางแห่งจีน ซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่ริเริ่มและให้การสนับสนุนมาเก๊าในการจัดงานดังกล่าวอย่างเต็มที่ ซึ่ง Forum นี้ เป็นการรวมตัวกันของผู้กำหนดนโยบาย นักวิชาการ ผู้นำองค์กร และผู้ประกอบการจากสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีนและทั่วโลก เพื่อแสวงหาโอกาสและ ความท้าทายในเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลก อาทิ HE HU Heping, Minister of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, Ms. Daniela Garnero SANTANCHE, Minister of Tourism of Italy, Ms. Julia Simpson, President and Chief Executive Officer of World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), Honorary Chairman of GTEF (UK), Mr. Carol Yu, Associate Dean of Shenzhen InnoX Academy, Mr. HO Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Forum Chairman of GTEF, Mr. Zurab POLOLIKASHVILI, Secretary-General of World Tourism Organization (Spain), Mr. LEI Wai Nong, Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, Executive Chairman of Global Tourism Economy Forum (Macao, China), Mr. Ho Iat Seng, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region และ Mrs. * Pansy Ho, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of GTEF เป็นต้น ณ Galaxy International Convention Centre เขตบริหารพิเศษมาเก๊าแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เมื่อวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2566
สำหรับในปี 2023 เป็นการจัดงานครั้งที่ 10 ภายใต้แนวคิด "Destination 2030: Unlocking the Power of Tourism for Business and Development" มีที่มา คือ โลกทุกวันนี้อยู่ในจุดเปลี่ยน สิ่งสาคัญในการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจโลก คือการฟื้นตัวของภาคการเดินทางและการท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลก ซึ่งจะเป็นแรงผลักดันสำคัญที่ช่วยให้เศรษฐกิจเติบโตและการจ้างงานเพิ่มขึ้น ก่อนเกิดโรคระบาดโควิด-19 จีนมีตลาดการท่องเที่ยวที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก ทั้งในด้านจำนวนการเดินทางและการใช้จ่ายทั้งหมด การเปิดสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน กครั้งหลังจากมาตรการจำกัดการเดินทางนาน 1,000 วัน ส่งความหวังให้กับเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลก ด้วยการสร้างสะพานเชื่อม ระหว่างจีนและโลก งาน GTEF เป็นแหล่งรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับบทบาทที่สำคัญของจีนในเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยวโลก และบทบาทของจีนในการขับเคลื่อนวาระความยั่งยืน
Today has been another productive and stimulating day at the Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF) in Macau. I was honoured to meet H.E. Ho Iat Seng, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and H.E. Hu Heping, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China , Mr. ZURAB POLOLIKASHVILI, SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE UNWTO , I heard some very visionary and informative speeches on the role of Tourism in helping the post-Covid recovery and came away with a high level of confidence in a bright future. I also plan to work closely with the Chinese tourism authorities, as well as the UN World Tourism Organisation and Pacific Asia Travel Association, to facilitate the economic revival. My visit to Macau is in line with my "Partnership 360" policy to strengthen Thai tourism industry across both the Demand and Supply sides through efficient cooperation with all potential stakeholders worldwide. I look forward to returning home to Thailand this evening and sharing my positive perspectives with our Minister of Tourism and Sports as well as with the private sector. #gtef2023
